Damn, I am feeling blessed, sure I generally feel grateful and appreciative for my life. However, things have been hitting a little differently since I returned from France last week. As  I contemplate what has shifted in my vibration, I’m noticing it was more about what was absent that allowed a new presence in my field.

I know, crazy talk, right??

While spending several days immersed fully in the culture of several regions in France, I was completely “out of sync,” which led to a new level of awareness for me… I’ll do my best to explain.

For 12 days, I was entirely disconnected from my “normal” practices and rituals. By that, I mean no intentional breathwork, no waking and meditating for an hour before working out, zero educational or spiritual podcasts, none of my usual daily readings of articles, or dropping in on YouTube to hear from some of my favorite mentors.

A break from consuming content!

Sitting with this all week, what has shifted is a deepening of trust in myself and settling into a regulated nervous system.

Don’t get me wrong, my usual practices serve a purpose, and I fully believe that resting and allowing my system to calibrate on its own and in natural surroundings, especially those spiritual and so rich with culture and history combined beautifully with the absence of force and hustle left a palpable impression.

I’m not kidding when I tell you colors look brighter, my senses are heightened, and despite the copious amounts of wine and pastries I enjoyed, I feel EMOTIONALLY lighter (physically, that’s a whole different blog, lol)!!

Perhaps, sometimes, we must let ourselves “be” and take a break from all the content, schedules, and expectations. Be present and experience the beautiful gifts of the universe, even when our situations seem less than desirable. There is always something to be grateful for . . .

Did I mention my husband and I were on this trip together? Another thing I realized is that even being inseparable for this entire vacation, we managed to get away with only one minor bicker over pastries, which in and of itself was miraculous.

This exposure and experience was a gift that provided me with perspective, humbled me, and deepened my sense of love, compassion, and appreciation for my life and those in it.

Upon returning, I’ve really settled into this fall vibe and embraced the slowing down post-eclipse and new moon, and I look forward to sharing my energy with you during this week’s FULL MOON CBQ on Friday.

I invite you to come! The session will be calming and relaxing. Let’s welcome in fall with a warm cup of cacao, clear our minds, and open our hearts for the coming season of slowing down. We’ll begin with a QiGong practice to deepen our emotional capacity, followed by the nervous system regulating breath work.

With love and gratitude,

Bobbi
